We have had a busy week this week in Reception, starting with our performance for World Music Day. Then we had a mindfulness session, where we learnt different animal breathing techniques and created our own leaves.

We have written lists about different animals from our story, Hattie Peck and we have written about what animal we would be. From this we have started to investigate different bird feathers, sorting them by size and pattern. We have had some peacock feathers in class, so we sketched them too. We also got to decorate our own eggs!

In RE we have started our new topic of our wonderful world and we went for a walk around our school to see what we could, see. hear, smell and touch.

We have looked at the country France and we built our own Eiffel Towers and decorated our own flags.

We have also had another sports day practice, fingers crossed the weather is much better next week!
