Fabulous Friday 5th March 2021
It’s fabulous Friday! It’s also our last Home Learning Blog for this lockdown!
First of all, I’d like to say a big well done to everyone in Year 4 for working hard over the last 8 weeks. I’m sure you’ve tried your best in all your work, even if you’ve found it tricky. Thank you also for showing me your work on Seesaw and for the little messages you’ve sent – they really have brought a smile to my face.
In addition, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at home who has supported their children – whether this be helping with school work, keeping your child motivated or supporting them in any other way. As a parent myself, I know this has been a tricky time and it is difficult juggling work, school work and emotional wellbeing on a daily basis. Everything you have done is greatly appreciated.
Remember, Fridays are now a lighter day with limited screen time to give you and your families the chance to catch up and switch off!
Today you just need to:
- Read
Enjoy reading for pleasure - take time to finish a book you are enjoying or start something new.
- Complete the maths activity attached to the blog (instructions are on page 4 of the document)
- Finish anything off that you want to upload to Seesaw for me to see
If you wish, you may read the end of Kensuke’s Kingdom – Chapter 10 and the postscript. We will be finishing the book in class today as we will be starting a new novel next week.
The rest of the day is yours, you’ve earned it!
Don’t forget to see the Friday Catch-up video on Seesaw this evening!
Remember we will all be back in school on Monday – please bring your Home Learning into school on Monday, so that you can share your work with your classmates. You should be proud of your learning!
I’m looking forward to seeing you all next week.
