Reception 15th October 2021

This week we have been learning all about our families. 

We have been drawing the family members that live in our house and looking at differnet types of houses and homes. Some of us had a go at constructing houses using the lego and duplo. 

We have been on our first trip to Longton library this week too, the children were all amazing and enjoyed listening to the stories that Tom read to us. 

In Understanding the World, we have been sorting toys that we used to play with as a baby to toys that we play with now. Thinking about the similiarities and differences we can spot. 

In Art, we have been looking at Kandinsky's artwork and trying to make our own circle patterns with pastels and cutting out coloured paper. 

We have nearly finished our first half term at St Oswald's! We would like to say a huge 'Well Done' to all of Reception, who have settled into school life really well.
