Welcome to your first blog of Year 1.

All the children came in looking so smart and ready to learn.

We have all been really golden !

Our learning has been great in English, R.E.,Phonics, Maths, Geography, History, French, Music, P.S.H.E., P.E. , Art, Outdoor Learning and Computing! Phew- what a lot of learning! From next week we will give you more detail about what we have been learning in each subject area. We will also set some Maths and Phonics challenges on Sumdog.

Today we had a very special Golden Assembly as we took some time to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We had a minute silence and said some prayers for the Royal Family at this difficult time.

Please try to read every night- we change the reading books every Friday so please make sure the reading books and signed diary are in school on that day.
