Home Practice

Counting - Practise counting in twos from 0 to 20.
Reading - Please try to read each night, it makes a big difference!
Please remember to bring book bags in each day.
English
We explored the life cycle of a pea plant, from a seed to fully grown pea pods. We watched a video explaining what they need to grow and wrote a set of instructions. Then we planted our own seeds in a pot, which we each took home to grow outside.
Phonics
We have focused on reading and spelling our tricky words.
Maths
We counted in ones, twos and fives. We wrote the numbers in the sequence and spotted patterns with the numbers.
R.E.
We continued to read the Easter story and wrote a thank you prayer to Jesus for sacrificing himself on the cross.
Science
We filled in some more of our weather chart. It was cloudy on Monday, compared to the sunny weather that we had the week before.
Art
We sketched the new plants that have grown around our school grounds.
We also added more detail to our beach landscape painting.
DT
We made our smoothies! We followed our plan and evaluated them on Seesaw.
