Sumdog challenge

Maths - Mass - heavier and lighter

Counting - Count in twos from 0 to 20. This can be tricky so adult help might be needed!

Reading - Please try to read each night, it makes a big difference!

Please remember to bring book bags in each day.

English

We continued to learn through the Winnie the Witch story. At the beginning of the week, we focused on Wilbur and how he was feeling. Then we sequenced the story and wrote our own versions in our books.

Phonics

Some of us have been learning the igh and oa sounds.

Some of us have been learning the oe and au sounds.

Maths

We used balance scales to compare mass using the words 'heavier', 'lighter' and 'equal'.

We also solved subtraction word problems using our maths resources.

Geography

We sequenced pictures from our trip to the library and created a timeline.

Forest School

We got the tarps, ropes and mats out to build some shelters.
