Home Practice

 Sumdog Challenge Maths - addition and subtraction

Counting - Practise counting in 2s, 3s and 10s, forwards and backwards from different numbers. 

Reading - Please try to read each night, it makes a big difference! 

English

This week we wrote about the class elf, the Nativity story and read Christmas stories.

Maths

We learnt more about addition within 100 this week as well as our number bonds to 20. 

R.E.

We listened to scripture which told us about Mary's Song to God and the visit of Angel Gabriel. We then re-told the Nativity story and drew beautiful pictures. We also wrote our response for our 'Preparation for Advent'.

Art

We created our printed Cristmas Cards - they all look great.

Forest School

We chose our own learning; there was shelter building, mud cooking, worm hunting, twig crafting, imaginative role playing and  leaf identifying. We found some snails and wanted to find out if they were hibernating.

Dogs Trust

We had a lovely visit from Sam who taught us 5 rules about how to be safe around dogs and how to treat them well so that they have a happy life.

Rock Steady

We had a great assembly on Friday. We watched and joined in with Jacob as he played the drums, bass guitar and a keyboard.
