Reading - Please try to read for 10 minutes every night. Children will get 10 house points for every book/chapter they read at home.

Spellings – continue to practise the Year 2 high frequency words.

Times Tables/Number Facts –  A times tables sheet will be sent home every Wednesday/Thursday. 

Counting - Practise saying your 3 times tables out loud forwards and backwards.

English

This week we finished reading our novel 'Fantastic Mr Fox' by Roald Dahl. The children have started to plan their re-tell of the story.

Maths

This week we finished our new topic about fractions. We are now looking at partitioning numbers in different ways.

RE

This week the children have been learning about Judaism.

Science

The children have been looking at how some plants manage to survive in different conditions.

Art

This week in Art the children have been looking at how different people can see different images in artwork and they made super flower designs, printing with their fingers.
