Year 2

Reading: In Year 2, children should read for at least 15/20 minutes every night and talk about the book. This will help with understanding the text and learning new words.

Remember you will get a sticker on your book mark!

Please practise these spellings for your quiz on Friday (04.04.25):

sword       castle     ghost    gnome        knit      write        thumb       by   bye    buy

For your challenge this week work on the new fluency booster.

Counting:

Starting at zero, count in fives forwards and backwards to 100.

Play the 'follow me' game where one person says the multiple of five and the other person says the next multiple of five.

Continue like this, then try to go faster!
