As part of our Little Blue Planet Geography learning, we have explored NIgeria and looked at some African Pattern Art. The children looked at photos of traditional African patterns and spotted repeating patterns. We then used our own ideas to create our own repeating patterns using lines and shapes and a range of pens, pencils and pastels. Super learning year 1!
