Wild Weaving

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 1 Year: 2021 - 2022

We went into our Nature Area to do our wild weaving as part of our Outdoor Learning. We picked a tree and got to work!

We wrapped wool around the trees and then started weaving with natural materials. There was great team work, discussion, negotiation, creativity and imagination! Everyone was really pleased with what they achieved.
