Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023

This week we have been making obstacle courses. We tested them to make sure they were safe and then gave each other instructions to follow. There was amazing communication,teamwork, imagination and resilience shown. We also developed our physical skills through jumping, balancing and hopping.

We also made stick people. We found forked sticks and used string, wool,pipe cleaners or elastic bands to fasten them together. Some of us also used a technique called lashing to fasten the sticks together.
