Today is Pancake Day! We learned that in France they celebrate 'Mardi Gras' (Fat Tuesday) and celebrate by eating lots of crêpes (pancakes), gaufres (waffles), bonbons (sweets) and chocolat (chocolate). We also learned that they also celebrate Carnival during this time. Carnival includes parties in the street with beautiful parades and decorations. Carnival masks are very popular too, so we had a go at designing our own.
