Year 1 PE - Gymnastics

Class: Year 1 Year: 2023 - 2024

For our first gymnastics lesson, we learnt how gymnasts travel around the room. We learnt two travelling movements - a gymnast walk and a caterpillar walk. We then learnt how to do a straight pencil jump, which needed straight legs and pointed toes. Hopefully it will be much warmer next week, then we can take our shoes and socks off and perform our movements properly!
