Year 5 read a story in French about the time when Santa's sleigh broke and he borrowed a space ship from some aliens to deliver the presents! Year 5 used a bilingual dictionary to look up the words they needed to describe who Father Christmas and the elves delivered to and the present they took. They had to change the definite article (le, la or les)  in the dictionary to the indefinite article (un, une, des) when needed.
