The children had a great time at our Greek Day. They made pitta bread, Greek salad and tzatziki, everyone joined in and tried the differnt foods. Many decided homemade was more delicious than shop bought! For recipes see BBC Food.
They learnt a simple dance to a Greek song (sadly the video is too large to attach, if I can find a way to attach I will).
The children also made Greek vases depicting scences from Ancient Greek including festivals, Olympic Games and Gods and Goddesses.
They also listen to more Greek myths and were shocked by the 'not always so happy' endings of Greek myths.
They had a great time and really enjoyed the day. Please see photos and video attached.
