Year 6- Forest School- Campfire Pizzas and Popcorn

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 6 Year: 2023 - 2024

We had our first session. We learnt how to be safe around a fire. We learnt how to start a fire. Then, we made our campfire pizzas. We chose our favourite ingredients taking care that there was enough  left for everyone. We watched them being fried on the fire. We had time for some exploring and then went back around the fire to make popcorn. We played some hide and seek games and then had a quiet reflection about what we had learnt, discovered or been surprised about.

We all thought the food was delicious!
