In Science we investigated if microorganisms are alive. To do this we mixed yeast, sugar and warm water in a bottle. We put a balloon on top of the bottle to see if the yeast was respiring, which would prove it was a living thing. We saw the balloon on the bottle fill up, which showed that the yeast was respiring!
