Years 1 and 2- Outdoor Learning-Spring Wreaths
Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom
Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023
This week it was the Spring Equinox, also called the Vernal Equinox. As a result of the sun crossing the equator and being located more north in the sky, the Northern Hemisphere, where we live, tilts more towards the sun. This creates more hours of daylight and warmer temperatures. To celebrate this we made willow wreaths. Some of us decorated them with wool in Spring colours.
