Reading
Read every single day. We continue to be amazed by how many of you are requesting new books and Tricky Words. We love your videos of all your reading and the discussions you are having about the books.
As it's World Book Day this week we have a new reading challenge for you. See how many of the Share a Story Reading Stars you can tick off on the sheet. You can print off a certificate if you tick all the stars !

Phonics
Today we will be looking back at our long U sounds. Visit Seesaw for your sounds learning today.
English
This week we are reading Scaredy Squirrel at Night. Today we will be learning how to write in full sentences and using our own ideas. Tune in to Seesaw to listen to the story and for your writing learning today.
Handwriting

Number Facts. Last week we looked at all the ways to make 5. For your challenge today pick two numbers from 0 to 5 and add them together, 0+0=0, 0+1=1 and so on... how many different addtition number sentences can you make?

Sharing God's love. Talk about what is happening in the picture (people receiving Holy Communion). Holy Communion means being close to Jesus and God his Father. It also means being close to each other. We are all God’s children. Answer the questions.
Science
This afternoon we are going to look at the different parts of a plant and what they do. Look through the slideshow on the parts of a plant. Look at all the pictures and talk about what you can see.
What is the same about each set of photos? What is different?
What do you know about Stems, leaves, seeds, roots and flowers?
Once you have completed the slideshow, fill in the sheet attached.
